title=&#187;Ansiedlungen von Top-Firmen und mehr Startups&#187;][vc_column_text]Im Jahr 2020 hat Basel Area Business &amp; Innovation den Ansiedlungsprozess komplett digitalisiert. Wir ersetzten Messen, Roadshows und Partnering-Veranstaltungen durch Online-Konferenzen und Webinare. Statt Besucherinnen und Besuchern die Region und wichtige Ansprechpartnerinnen pers\u00f6nlich vorzustellen, arrangierten wir Online-Treffen. Das Ziel der Digitalisierung bestand darin, unter den erschwerten Bedingungen eine niederschwellige Teilnahme von Kundinnen und Kunden zu erm\u00f6glichen. Auf diese Weise gelang es uns, in den weltweiten Kundenbeziehungen Vertrauen aufzubauen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ae1022;\">Hochkar\u00e4tige Firmen, die wir von der Basel Area \u00fcberzeugen konnten, werden Know-how, Arbeitspl\u00e4tze und Steuersubstrat in die Region bringen.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Am gr\u00f6ssten war die Resonanz in den Life Sciences: Neu in der Basel Area sind beispielsweise Yokogawa aus Japan und die chinesische Firma Hengrui. Moderna expandierte vom Hauptsitz in Cambridge, Massachusetts, und er\u00f6ffnete in Basel seine erste Niederlassung ausserhalb von Nordamerika. Das bedeutende Life Sciences-Unternehmen nutzt den neuen Standort, um die Produktion seines Corona-Impfstoffs ausserhalb der USA voranzutreiben.<\/p>\n<p>Das Interesse in Asien am Standort Basel steigt kontinuierlich an: 2018 haben vier Firmen aus diesem Kontinent in die Basel Area expandiert. 2020 begleitete Basel Area Business &amp; Innovation bereits neun asiatische Firmen bei der Ansiedlung.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ae1022;\">Insgesamt blieb die Zahl der Ansiedlungen mit 27 Firmen (2019 waren es 30) trotz Corona auf hohem Niveau stabil.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Viele Firmen setzten im Jahr 2020 bereits laufende Expansions- und Ansiedlungsprojekte um. Zugleich stellen wir fest, dass Unternehmen aufgrund der Covid-19-Pandemie vorsichtige Investitionsentscheide treffen. Daher gehen wir f\u00fcr 2021 von einer tieferen Anzahl Ansiedlungen aus.[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=&#187;Accent-Color&#187; title=&#187;Neue Chancen, neue Partnerschaften, neue Prozesse&#187;][vc_column_text]COVID-19 hat in allen Bereichen Entwicklungen beschleunigt: Ein internationales Publikum ist mittlerweile die Norm \u2013 das ist eine gute Voraussetzung f\u00fcr die Innovationsf\u00f6rderung.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #5e3b66;\">Wir haben die coronabedingten Ver\u00e4nderungen unseres Markts mit technologischen Mitteln rasch und versiert aufgegriffen, unsere Prozesse angepasst und die sich neu bietenden Chancen genutzt. So begleiteten wir 82 Firmengr\u00fcndungen &#8211; 20 mehr als im Vorjahr.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Auch die Innovationsf\u00f6rderung hat sich 2020 erfreulich entwickelt: Die drei Initiativen DayOne, BaseLaunch und i4Challenge sind quantitativ und qualitativ gewachsen. DayOne f\u00f6rdert die Innovation im Gesundheitsbereich und veranstaltete mit 120 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern den ersten Healthcare Hackathon in Basel.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008caa;\">An der digitalen DayOne Conference pr\u00e4sentierten 15 Health Hackers ihre L\u00f6sungen vor einem 850-k\u00f6pfigen Publikum.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Von den \u00fcber 100 Teams, die sich f\u00fcr die dritte Runde des DayOne Accelerators bewarben, wurden sechs ausgew\u00e4hlt. Sie profitieren von Coaching und Workshops.<\/p>\n<p>Zudem startete Basel Area Business &amp; Innovation ein Projekt mit dem H\u00f4pital du Jura in Del\u00e9mont, dem Universit\u00e4tsspital Basel und der Haute-Ecole Arc. Zusammen werden wir eine Anwendung entwickeln, die Onkologiepatientinnen und -patienten bei ihrer Therapie unterst\u00fctzen soll. Weitere Projekte werden im Rahmen dieser vierj\u00e4hrigen Partnerschaft folgen.<\/p>\n<p>Bei BaseLaunch stehen Innovationen im therapeutischen Bereich im Fokus. Dank starker Partnerschaften mit Unternehmen und der kontinuierlichen Unterst\u00fctzung durch unsere Tr\u00e4gerkantone konnten wir die Summe verdoppeln, mit denen wir die Firmen in unserem Portfolio f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #5ebb9f;\">Die Zahlen sprechen f\u00fcr sich: Seit 2018 haben BaseLaunch-Alumni in Finanzierungsrunden \u00fcber 200 Millionen Franken gesichert.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Die i4Challenge wurde zum dritten Mal durchgef\u00fchrt. Zus\u00e4tzlich zur Kategorie KMU und Startups haben wir neu die Kategorie \u00abNew Ideas\u00bb geschaffen. 12 Firmen und Projekte gewannen die i4Challenge. Sie werden bei der Weiterentwicklung von uns unterst\u00fctzt und k\u00f6nnen ihre Ideen im Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area am Standort Jura vorantreiben.<\/p>\n<p>Die Coronakrise stellte insbesondere produzierende Betriebe vor grosse Herausforderungen. Darauf reagierten wir mit der innovativen strategischen Toolbox. Das Beratungstool soll Firmen dabei helfen, trotz der wirtschaftlichen Krise innovative L\u00f6sungen zu entwickeln.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ae1022;\">70 Events mit 5,619 Teilnehmenden<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Basel Area Business &amp; Innovation organisierte 70 Veranstaltungen, 49 davon gemeinsam mit Partnern \u2013 die meisten davon online. 5619 Personen nahmen an diesen Events teil. Zum Vergleich: 2019 wurden 106 Veranstaltungen mit 5804 Teilnehmenden durchgef\u00fchrt. Damit zeigte sich, dass die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer die Verlagerung von Veranstaltungen auf Onlineformate rasch annahmen und wir mit weniger Veranstaltungen mehr Personen erreichten. Mit dem neuen Auftritt k\u00f6nnen wir unsere verschiedenen Zielgruppen besser ansprechen und unser Profil weiter sch\u00e4rfen. F\u00fcr ein erfolgreiches Standortmarketing ist es essenziell, die Sichtbarkeit der Wirtschaftsregion Basel laufend zu erh\u00f6hen. Anstelle des Logos f\u00fcr die Organisation haben wir deshalb das Logo mit dem Slogan \u00abBasel Area \u2013 More to discover\u00bb geschaffen, das die Region in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Dieses Logo darf und soll auch von unseren Tr\u00e4gerkantonen sowie anderen zugewandten Organisationen, Firmen und Partnern verwendet werden.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ae1022;\">Basel Area Business &amp; Innovation wird auch 2021 weiter daran arbeiten, Prozesse zu digitalisieren, um exzellente Kundenerlebnisse zu erm\u00f6glichen und Ressourcen effizient zu nutzen.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Basel Area Business &amp; Innovation wird auch 2021 weiter daran arbeiten, Prozesse zu digitalisieren, um exzellente Kundenerlebnisse zu erm\u00f6glichen und Ressourcen effizient zu nutzen.
