Ellen Freiburghaus joined Basel Area Business & Innovation as a Communications & Marketing Trainee in May 2025. She brings experience in digital content creation, social media strategy, and corporate communications, having previously worked with organizations such as Vimova and Westhive.

Ellen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from the ERASMUS University Rotterdam. Her passion lies in crafting compelling narratives and fostering community engagement, aiming to enhance the visibility and impact of the Basel Area’s initiatives.
